Couple Sessions, Engagements

Modern Engagement Session at the St. Pete Museum of Fine Arts

Emily & Sajid’s Engagement Session at the St. Pete Museum of Fine Arts

Okay, can we just talk about how dreamy Emily and Sajid’s engagement session turned out? We met up at the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Pete, and let’s just say… between the gorgeous architecture, the soft light, and their undeniable chemistry, it was pure magic from the first shutter click.

These two are that kind of couple who just fit. You know what I mean? They laugh easily, they move like they’ve been dancing around each other forever, and they’re clearly best friends on top of being crazy in love.

The Museum of Fine Arts was the perfect backdrop — classic columns, quiet corners, and that iconic waterfront view that St. Pete is known for. Emily showed up in this silky, cream-toned dress that caught every bit of the modern essence. Sajid kept it cool and timeless with a crisp button-down and that easy confidence that comes from being totally smitten.

We wandered around the museum’s front area first, soaking in the calm before the sunset. They held hands and just existed in that sweet little bubble that all engaged couples seem to live in.

One of my favorite moments? When they spontaneously started slow dancing under one of the arches. No music, no prompting. Just them, completely in their moment. I may or may not have teared up a little behind the camera.

It’s sessions like this that make me remember why I love photographing love stories. Emily and Sajid brought all the joy, tenderness, and quiet excitement that makes engagement season so special. Their wedding at Hotel Haya in Ybor City is going to be one for the books — I already know it.

Until then, here’s to museum strolls, modern love, and that kind of love that looks like it belongs in a painting.
