You just GOTTA love Tampa, Florida, especially the city’s downtown area! Go Bucs and Lightning am I right?! Even though it can be overlooked, downtown is an ideal spot to for engagement or couples photos. It is filled with urban sceneries that are full of life and many backdrops that include the infamous Tampa Bay. What’s more fun than getting your photos taken in the city you live and thrive in? Plus, it will remind you of all the wonderful memories you already have there.

Skylar and Brian had Downtown Tampa in mind for their engagement photos. They both love the city area and going to Lighting hockey games. Boy did the location not disappoint! The two celebrated this epic moment by having their photos taken in a vibrant part of the city. Judging by their engagement photos in downtown, you can see we picked out some fabulous spots! We started our session at a local park and continued roaming around to find some amazing locations. We started with a gorgeous fountain, where the light bounced off of the mirrored buildings, giving them that “we are engaged” glow. And, of course, how can I forget the steps?

Aside from the location, one thing that made this engagement session stand out, is the couple’s chemistry. From the pics, it’s obvious they are fun, bubbly, and crazy in loveeeeee! Brian and Skylar have a fun and lighthearted relationship, and they were a true pleasure to work with. The couple wanted a mix of candid, classic, and artsy pics, which was so fun to make happen. Their white outfits, paired well with the city vibes, making their downtown engagement photos perfect!
