Nothing makes me happier than couples that book me for a proposal or engagement session, and then turn into wedding clients! Kaitlin and Jack had booked me for their engagement session in Tampa, Florida, while Kaitlin was visiting from Jacksonville. These two had such an easy and lighthearted chemistry, which made it that much easier to capture their connection. After getting their photos, Kaitlin reached out about booking me as their wedding photographer. Of course I was excited to photograph them both again! Especially at a venue that was meaningful to the both of them, Five Points Chapel.
Five Points Chapel, in Jacksonville, Florida, is a wedding venue known for its captivating charm and uniqueness. Originally built in 1934, the chapel is recognizable for its beautiful brick walls and traditional design. It also has a gorgeous outdoor space lit up by string market lights, making up the perfect setting for a romantic Jacksonville, Florida wedding. The chapel can host as many as 150 guests, ideally fit for small weddings, engagement parties, and other celebrations. Kaitlin and Jack thought so, too. In fact, choosing to tie the knot at Five Points Chapel was the easiest decision for them!
Kaitlin and Jack’s Jacksonville, Florida wedding was an intimate and romantic affair. The ceremony took place in the chapel in the presence of the couple’s friends and family. The original plan was to have the reception outdoors, but the weather wasn’t working in our favor since it was quite rainy. So, the celebration had to continue indoors, and the chapel was transformed into a reception space. Luckily, flipping it was quick, thanks to the versatility of this wedding venue. Despite the change of plans, everything turned out perfect in the end! The newlyweds had a lovely celebration of love, and witnessing them start a new chapter in their lives almost made me bawl like a baby!
Five Points Chapel really does have it all! Besides accommodating the ceremony and the reception, this Jacksonville, Florida wedding venue also features a private bridal suite. Kaitlin used the suite to finish getting ready and take photos with her loved ones. The chapel’s surroundings are also very picturesque, so we had an excellent backdrop for their portraits. To put it simply, couples who desire a dreamy wedding in Jacksonville, Florida, should consider this gorgeous venue, as it is an all-in-one spot for both indoor and outdoor celebrations of love!
