Hannah and Richie’s wedding day at Hotel Haya in Ybor was one of those celebrations that just felt easy, warm, and full of the best kind of energy. From the moment we walked into the hotel that morning, you could feel how much thought they put into making the day feel timeless and unrushed—which honestly set the tone for everything that followed.
Getting Ready at Hotel Haya
Hannah got ready in one of the beautiful suites at Hotel Haya, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect backdrop. Soft light, calm vibes, her dress hanging gracefully in the corner… it all felt so classic. She wanted a very timeless look, and everything about her morning reflected that. Her details, her makeup, the soft colors—everything aligned perfectly.
Richie got ready in the library, which was such a vibe. Dark wood, rich tones, and that old-school character that made every shot feel cinematic without even trying. His guys kept things easy and relaxed (and maybe slightly chaotic in the best way), which made for some seriously fun getting-ready moments. We even got the chance to stop for some delicious espresso martinis to take the edge off!
First Look(s!)
Before the ceremony rush began, we stepped into two of the sweetest parts of the morning:
- Hannah’s first look with her dad, which was emotional in that quiet, proud, overwhelming way.
- And then the first look between Hannah and Richie, which was full of tears, laughter, and those big exhale moments couples always have when they finally see each other.
Wedding Party & Couple Portraits
Once they were together, we brought in the wedding party for portraits. The group was fun, easygoing, and totally on board with the relaxed, timeless vibe Hannah and Richie wanted. Nothing too staged or stiff—just beautiful light, clean backgrounds, and genuine moments.
After that, we took some time for couple portraits around Hotel Haya and Ybor. The area’s texture and color always photograph beautifully, and these two slipped right into the scenery like they belonged there.
The Ceremony
Their ceremony was intimate, heartfelt, and full of the people who love them most. Hotel Haya has such a cool way of blending modern design with historic Ybor charm, and it set the perfect tone for their vows.
Sunset Portraits
Right after the ceremony, we grabbed a few minutes for sunset portraits, and wow—totally worth it. The soft, golden light mixed with the hotel’s architecture created some of my favorite images of the whole day. Again, no rushing, just a calm walk outside and a chance for them to soak in the moment.
Reception at Hotel Haya
And then the party began. Their reception was full of good music, good food, and the best kind of dance-floor chaos. The room glowed, and so did they.
Closing Thoughts
Hannah and Richie’s day was the perfect example of how much smoother and more meaningful a wedding feels when you prioritize presence over pressure. Their focus on timelessness, breathing room, and intentional moments made the entire day feel effortless—and it absolutely shows in their photos.
