If you’re into joyful vibes, springtime colors, and dancing under market lights in a museum, you’re going to love Marina and Mark’s wedding day.
Getting Ready: Hotel Hyatt, St. Pete
We kicked things off at the Hyatt in downtown St. Pete, where Marina and her crew were getting ready with all the good energy you’d expect from a bride who smiles literally all the time. The room was filled with laughter, champagne, and pops of pastel tones that hinted at the colorful celebration ahead. Meanwhile, Mark and his guys were doing their thing—cool, relaxed, and equally smiley.
The Ceremony: St. Paul’s Catholic Church
Once everyone was dressed and ready, it was time to hop on the Jolley Trolley—a classic touch that brought big Florida charm to the day. With their wedding party in tow, Marina and Mark rolled up to St. Paul’s Catholic Church, where they had a heartfelt ceremony surrounded by family and friends.
After the “I do’s,” we stuck around the church for some family portraits (pro tip: getting these done right away keeps things smooth for the rest of the evening). Then it was back on the trolley for the ride to the real showstopper: the Museum of Fine Arts.
The Reception: St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts
Now, this spot? Chef’s kiss. The museum’s architecture, the massive banyan tree next door, and the waterfront views—it’s all effortlessly elegant without being over-the-top. We took full advantage, snapping wedding party photos outside and sneaking in some stunning portraits of Marina and Mark beneath the tree’s twisted branches. These two just radiate happiness, and it came through in every single frame.
As golden hour set in, the couple joined their guests for cocktail hour at the museum, soaking up all the love (and a few signature drinks). They kicked off the reception with their first dances in the museum’s ballroom, surrounded by soft lighting and spring florals that tied everything together perfectly.
From there, it was non-stop dancing, happy tears, and big smiles—just the way Marina and Mark do life. Their wedding was a perfect blend of elegant, fun, and totally them.
Honestly, if their marriage is anything like their wedding day, it’s going to be one joyful ride.
